March and April Adventures!

March is here and I'm having a fantastic winter season back in London, hanging out with friends, playing some music and hearing all the great bands and songwriters here in town! Lots coming up as the snow starts to melt and spring nears…

I get to play a short lunch set at the London Girls Rock Camp during March break, a private event, thrilled to be part of this program encouraging young women to get into music! If you have a young gal in your life interested in rocking out (or folking out), check out this fun camp - they have one in the summer too!

I'll be back at The Richmond on WEDNESDAY, March 26th as part of a songwriters showcase hosted by Cam De Laat, 8:00pm $5.00 suggested.  Bringing out my golden oldie originals for this one, Dan Henshall most likely will hop on stage to join in on mandolin.

Two Dollar Bill is headed back to London from his new home in Portage La Prairie Manitoba - he's getting on the bus for a few spring shows around Ontario and he's back at The Richmond on Friday, April 4th! I'll be playing as one of the special guests kicking off the show.  9:00pm, Pay What You Can - Discontinued Currency Accepted!

Coming up April 19th in Sweaburg, Ontario, I'm back at Stonecroft Folk House Concerts opening for Kray Van Kirk from California! Sweaburg is between Ingersoll and Woodstock, Tickets $35.00 or $30.00 for 2 or 3 Stonecroft Concerts Tickets at music@stonecroftfarms.ca these shows are always super popular, don't take a chance, get your tickets in advance!

I'm still working on setting up shows for my summer adventures on Vancouver Island, again this year, if anyone knows of some fun venues or house concerts around Sidney and Victoria, get in touch, allison@allisonbrown.ca.  I'm trying out Sidedoor to find some great spaces for music, check it out: https://sidedoor.link/l/jumBcXdB736NQGanVoWS

I also set up a profile on BlueSky for folks who are taking a break from other social media platforms - find me here: https://bsky.app/profile/allisonbrownmusic.bsky.social

Spring is on the way - looking forward to seeing you in London and Sweaburg soon!
