Early Summer in Southern Ontario! 

Summer is on the horizon and lots of great shows coming up in London, Harrow, and Stratford as the temperatures rise! Sunday, May 11th I'm at London Brewing for Sunday Aftertunes with Dan Henshall, 2:00pm to 4:00pm, bring your Mama or skip the family drama!

Sunday, June 1st kicks off the winery season at Oxley Estate Winery in Harrow, Mike Houston and I will be playing an afternoon of Classic Country, Bluegrass, Fiddle, Folk and More from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. 

June 4th, I'm back at Jim Chapman's Wednesday music series at Unity Of London with Dan Henshall and a variety of other stellar musicians! 7:30pm, $10.00.

Saturday, June 7th I'm playing an opening set for LeVolume featuring Jenny Whiteley, Joey Wright and Julian Brown at a House Concert in London, very close to a sell-out for this intimate evening of music in both English and French! Spring and Early Summer In Ontario! 

Spring is slowly springing in Southern Ontario, I'm back home on the farm near Windsor for most of April after spending the winter in London.  Up next, I'm back at Stonecroft Folk on Saturday, April 19th for a House Concert where I'll be doing a solo set as a double bill with California finger-style guitarist and songwriter Kray Van Kirk! Stonecroft Farms is in beautiful Sweaburg, between Woodstock and Ingersoll, show starts at 8:00pm, tickets $30.00 at music@stonecroftfarms.ca or 519-636-2010. I'll be hopping on stage as a special guest with Mike Houston at Villains in Windsor on Friday, April 25th for a few songs, 9:00pm, $5.00 at the door, cash only. Mike plays the fourth Friday of every month!

Sunday, June 1st marks my only Windsor/Essex performance before I head out to Vancouver Island for the early part of summer, I'll be at Oxley Estate Winery in Harrow with Mike Houston as part of their summer music series, 1:00pm to 5:00pm outside on the patio! Let's enjoy our first taste of summer wine with some classic country, fiddle music, bluegrass and more!

My friend and mentor David Essig is celebrating close to 60 years of songwriting and roots music with a tour of Ontario this May! May 1st, Toronto at Hugh's Room, May 2nd at The Bunker in Stratford, May 3rd in Dundas at Oddfellows Hall, May 4th at Cuckoo's Nest Folk Club, and May 6th at the Port Ryerse Church. Be sure to get your tickets in advance and don't miss your chance to hear David's amazing songs and stories on his spin through Ontario!

I'm still looking for places to play in Sidney and Victoria, BC on my summer adventures in June and July… if you might like to host a house concert, or know of a special little venue I could perform, just let me know. I'm thrilled that Dan Henshall will be joining me once again playing for the passengers aboard VIA Rail's ‘Canadian’ from Vancouver to Toronto as we make our way home to Ontario!

March and April Adventures! 

March is here and I'm having a fantastic winter season back in London, hanging out with friends, playing some music and hearing all the great bands and songwriters here in town! Lots coming up as the snow starts to melt and spring nears…

I get to play a short lunch set at the London Girls Rock Camp during March break, a private event, thrilled to be part of this program encouraging young women to get into music! If you have a young gal in your life interested in rocking out (or folking out), check out this fun camp - they have one in the summer too!

I'll be back at The Richmond on WEDNESDAY, March 26th as part of a songwriters showcase hosted by Cam De Laat, 8:00pm $5.00 suggested.  Bringing out my golden oldie originals for this one, Dan Henshall most likely will hop on stage to join in on mandolin.

Two Dollar Bill is headed back to London from his new home in Portage La Prairie Manitoba - he's getting on the bus for a few spring shows around Ontario and he's back at The Richmond on Friday, April 4th! I'll be playing as one of the special guests kicking off the show.  9:00pm, Pay What You Can - Discontinued Currency Accepted!

Coming up April 19th in Sweaburg, Ontario, I'm back at Stonecroft Folk House Concerts opening for Kray Van Kirk from California! Sweaburg is between Ingersoll and Woodstock, Tickets $35.00 or $30.00 for 2 or 3 Stonecroft Concerts Tickets at music@stonecroftfarms.ca these shows are always super popular, don't take a chance, get your tickets in advance!

Winter Shows in London! 

Happy New Year…! 2025 promises to be another fun year of adventures… I'll be spending the winter back in London, and I've got a few shows coming up.  Wednesday, January 29th, I'll be part of a night of music at The Unity Centre hosted by Jim Chapman.  7:30pm, $10.00.

Coming up Friday, February 21st at The Richmond Tavern I'm hosting an all-star night of Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Fiddle and More featuring Mike Houston, myself and Dan Henshall and The Ford City Ramblers! 9:00pm, PWYC, Vintage Vinyl Between Sets!

Excited about starting to book shows and concerts through 2025, looking for places to play around London in the late spring, Windsor/Essex/Chatham area in April, May and late summer and back on Vancouver Island this summer! 2024 was a fantastic year of music and adventures; lots on the go for 2025! My Pet-Sitting schedule is already busy with bookings taking me through to the summer, when I'll be heading back to Vancouver Island.. and I'll be spending most of winter 2025 in London (Ontario).

I'm chopping firewood, perfecting my hot chocolate recipe and collecting songs for my annual "Fireside" Christmas Radio Hour! Every year at Christmas, I make my journey up to the snow-covered cabin in the woods in a secret location in Northern Ontario to broadcast the “Fireside” Christmas Radio Hour for 90 minutes of music beside the crackling fire. The theme for this year’s spicy show is “Naughty and Nice”, and I'm on the lookout for new holiday and winter music and songs from Christmases past from Canadian artists of all genres to feature on the show. Phog October 19th, Autumn Concerts and Holiday Cards! 

October is here and I've got a lovely autumn planned here in Ontario's deep south! Early fall in Ontario! 

September is such a lovely season to be back in Southern Ontario, had a great return from my summer on Vancouver Island, back to the fireflies, campfires, thunderstorms and sandy beaches… lots of shows happening across South to Mid-Ontario this fall!  This Saturday, September 14th, I'm back in London with Dan Henshall for my first show at The Mockingbird, 7:00 to 10:00pm, PWYC. 

Saturday, September 28th, I team up again with Barry James Payne (String Bone) for a show in Guelph at Which Craft, 9:00pm - no cover!

At long last, I'm back in Toronto on Wednesday, October 2nd at The Local with Will Gillespie! My first show in the city since 2020, it's been a while and excited to be back! 9:00pm, PWYC. 

And - after 10 years - I'll be back hanging out at the Folk Music Ontario Conference in Mississauga, October 4th to 6th! I haven't attended the conference since 2014, so I'm excited to see old friends and make some new connections!

'Second Summer' in Ontario! 

I can't believe my time on Vancouver Island this summer flew by so fast! I have a few more days here in beautiful Victoria before I fly back to deep Ontario south for more adventures and a ‘second summer’ as the warm days continue… Friday, August 30th I'm kicking off Labour Day weekend in Woodslee for a show with Mike Houston (Lonesome Lefty) as part of the Lakeshore Summer Concert Series, Millen Park 1925 S Middle Rd W in South Woodslee, 7:00pm to 8:30pm, Bring a Lawn Chair! Help from Stone & Sky Music & Art to support this concert, see you there!

I'm headed back to London soon, and I'll be dropping in as a special guest with Ron Leary and String Bone on September 12th at The Richmond, and on that weekend, Saturday, September 14th I'm re-united with Dan Henshall for a show on the patio at The Mockingbird, 7:00pm to 10:00pm, PWYC, 760 Dundas Street.

Summer on Vancouver Island! 

Happy Summer Folks! It's already the end of June and I'm half-way through my four month adventure here on Vancouver Island, time is flying by! I've had a chance to explore the beautiful mountain, forest and oceans, check out some amazing live music, play some fun shows, spend time with some lovely cats and dogs, connect with old friends and make some new ones!  More to come as my adventures continue; next up is two sets as part of Duncan's 39 Days Of July Festival… I'm on the VITALS stage in the park by the train station Friday, July 26th at 4:00pm and Sunday, July 28th at 1:00pm, check out this amazing 39+ Days of music every day in Duncan! 

Just added Thursday, August 1st I hop over to Gabriola Island for a show with Vancouver's Matt Kennedy from the Headlong Hearts at the Skol Pub, also special guest Marshall Mangan! 7:00pm to 10:00pm, no cover, PWYC!
